Progress to date:

• Fencing:
  • Fencing was installed in March of 2018.  This will allow games for 10 year olds and younger to be played on this field.
• Infield:
  • The grass was removed. A new infield mix was brought in to allow drainage and a more manageable surface.
• Drainage:
  • Drain tile was buried between the Reds Diamond and Diamond F.  The water will be directed to the ditch where it will be taken out of the park.

• Infield:
  • The infield was raised to pitch water to the outfield. A new infield mix was brought in to allow drainage and a more manageable surface.
• Irrigation:
  • A 2" water line was brought into the field behind the pitchers mound. A compartment containing a hose and nozzle will allow field to be watered from the pitchers mound in approximately 10 minutes.
• Drainage:
  • Drain tile was buried beneath the new infield mix and along the infield in the outfield of the grass. All drain tile now connects to the sewage system that takes the water out of the park
• Backstop:
  • A 6' concrete backstop was poured to support the new backstop netting system.  The net will be exposed 30' above the playing field.
• Dugouts:
  • 6' concrete walls and a slab were poured.  Above the concrete sits a custom designed dugout built with treated lumber. Each dugout will have red metal roof, white trim, and wood siding panel that we will be able to paint.
