Pulaski Baseball is looking for umpires for the 2019 baseball season.  Games are played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Umpires behind the plate are paid $17, while umpires on the bases make $15. Games are 60 to 90 minutes, and you can work one or two games per night.  No experience is necessary, but some baseball knowledge is required.  If you are interested, please visit the Umpires page on the website to submit an application and to learn more about the umpiring program.

WITT FORD DRIVE 4UR COMMUNITY EVENT

Drive 4U Event

Saturday, April 27th – 9AM – 1PM

What are we doing?

Pulaski Youth Softball and Baseball needs your help to raise up to $6,000!  We are partnering with Witt Family Ford to help purchase new protective shade awnings that will not only make watching games on Diamonds B and C more enjoyable, but much safer!  Just imagine how great it would be to sit in the shade and not do the “duck and tuck” when a foul ball flies between diamonds B and C.

How can you help?

  1. Come to Witt Ford at W1367 Hwy 160, Pulaski (corner of 29 and 160) on Saturday, April 27th between 9AM and 1PM.
  2. Fill out a simple pre-registration form - drivers must by 18 or older; one per household.
  3. Hop in one of the new Ford vehicles with a volunteer from Pulaski Youth Softball or Baseball. It will only take five minutes with no pushy sales pitches!
  4. IMPORTANT -- Fill out a post-drive survey, sent to you via email or text, that day – this step is important.  If the survey is not filled out, our organization does not receive the $20 credit for the test drive.

Free Giveaways!

  • Free Ford and Pulaski Softball/Baseball SWAG will be given away!
  • Each test drive will earn you two free entries (a $10 value!)  into the raffle for a concession duty free summer!  Raffle will be drawn at uniform pickup on May 4th at Glenbrook Elementary.  Additional tickets will be sold for $5 at uniform pickup.

Pre-register for this event here:

MEMORIAL PARK CLEANUP AND PROJECT DAY

We will be holding a Memorial Park clean-up and project day on Sunday, April 28th beginning at 8:00 am. We are asking for volunteers to come and help us get our fields in shape and ready for the season. There is plenty of work to do and we hope that you can find time to stop by and help.

UNIFORM PICKUP MAY 4th

Uniform Pickup is on Saturday May 4th from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Glenbrook Elementary. Pickup jerseys, hats, and apparel orders. Limited apparel items will also be for sale.

Please remember you MUST be signed up for your required concession shifts prior to receiving your uniform. If you are unable to pick up your uniform this day, please arrange for someone else to pick up your uniform. We cannot guarantee you will get your uniform in time for your first game if not picked up on this day.

As in past years, a check deposit will be required at uniform pickup day to help urge families to show up for their scheduled time to work concessions. The deposit is $200 per family and should be made out to PBS Concessions, postdated August 15th. The checks will be shredded when you work your designated shifts, failure to work them will result in the check being deposited.

**NEW THIS YEAR** How would you like to have ALL your concessions/volunteer shifts waived for this season? We are offering a fundraising raffle and THREE lucky families will have ALL their concession/volunteer shifts waived! Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Don’t miss your chance to earn TWO FREE entries when you join us at the Witt Drive 4U Event on April 27th!

Proceeds will go towards the installation of protective shade awnings on Fields B and C. (So even if you don’t win the raffle, you will still be a winner when you enjoy safe and shaded seating this summer!)
Tickets will be sold at uniform pickup and a winner will be drawn via Facebook Live at the close of pickup.

GREEN BAY BOOYAH DAY AT THE PARK
