Standing Committee Chair Persons

NEW: We will be creating an “Outgoing President Advisor” role to ensure that new incoming Presidents have the support and resources available to them (from the outgoing President) to help in their transition.

Concessions

Lead one of the BEST concessions stands in the area! This is one of the most important jobs in Pulaski Baseball. Without a top-notch Concessions Coordinator, who is committed to running a high-quality operation and team, our program as we know it would not be possible. You will:

  • Coordinate food and beverage orders
  • Schedule volunteer shifts
  • Coordinate/schedule “stand managers” to help during the season
  • Manage funds and make purchases/deposits as required
  • Coordinate the purchase/repair of stand equipment

Field Improvements/Equipment

Dream big - Get it done! Our fields and facilities have never looked better, and even more exciting opportunities are on the horizon.  As a Field Improvements Coordinator and Equipment Manager, you will:

  • Anticipate field improvement needs and projects
  • Coordinate planning, oversight, and project completion
  • Work with area providers/suppliers to build relationships
  • Order, maintain, and control all equipment for team use

NEW for this Year: League Commissioners

We need parents at the league level who are interested in improving the flow of the season and experience for our players and families!  This is a great opportunity to “dip your toes” into a leadership position without committing to the year-round time investment of a Board Officer.

League Commissioner – Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, Machine Pitch

As the head of this group, you will:

  • Help recruit and supervise coaches
  • Set up the player draft (machine pitch only)
  • Schedule umpires
  • Field questions from coaches/families for your three-league unit

League Commissioner – Pee Wee, Little League, Pony League, Babe Ruth

As the head of this group, you will:

  • Help recruit and supervise coaches
  • Set up the player draft for Pee Wee and Little League
  • Schedule umpires
  • Field questions from coaches/families for your four-league unit

Scheduler

Do you like to plan and coordinate large scale adventures? Are Google Docs and Excel spreadsheets your thing? If so, as Scheduler you will:

  • Schedule league practices, batting cage reservations, and games
  • Register our competitive teams for away tournaments
  • Manage registrations for our home tournaments
  • Create and communicate schedules and brackets for our home tournaments

Most of the work is done in late winter/early spring, with a very light work load once the season is underway.

Sponsorships/Fundraising

We are looking for an outgoing, personable, community focused chairperson who can help connect local and national businesses with Pulaski baseball to support our ongoing needs and projects. As a non-profit, community/business support and sponsorship is critical to ensure we can keep doing (and grow even more) what we are doing! If you are a connector - let’s talk!

Player Development

Do you love the sport of baseball? Do you know what it takes to build players from Tee Ball through Babe Ruth? Are you the type of guy/gal that knows the importance of good fundamentals and have the experience to back it up?  If you want to lead the instruction and growth of our players and coaches, now is a great time to join our team. As Player Development lead, you will:

  • Lead (oversee, plan, implement) the early spring workouts/clinics
  • Be the point person to instruct and guide coaches/players as needs arise.

Website/Social Media:

Alright tech people, we need you! If you’d like to help with some “behind the scenes” work that is crucial in ensuring that our members have the information they need in a timely, and easy to access format, we’d love your expertise on the team!

Uniforms/Apparel:

We are in the process of working on some BIG changes to our uniforms and apparel options.  We need a detail-oriented person who can work with local and national vendors to carry out this vision. Most of this work is done starting now-late winter to ensure our uniforms are here and ready to go at pick up in May.
