2018 PULASKI BASEBALL FEEDBACK SURVEY RESULTS

We're proud to release the results from the 2018 Pulaski Baseball Feedback survey. Thank you for participating and sharing your thoughts on what has been done well and what could be done better. We've reviewed the results and have made a number of changes to improve the experience for everyone involved.  Look for those changes throughout 2019. In addition, we've shared the results with the Village of Pulaski so they are aware of the requests for improvements to bathrooms and parking.

A few highlights:

  • 34% of families completed the survey
  • 90% ranked their experience Excellent or Good

One of the requests from the survey was to add additional tournaments for our tournament teams. We've elected to add an additional tournament/experience for our 7/8u, 10u, 12u, and 14u Tournament Teams. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting opportunity once the Season gets started.

Again, thank you for your time in helping to improve OUR program.

2019 ALL-STAR TEAM SELECTION PROCESS

One of the topics we received a lot of feedback about was the need to form the “All-Star” tournament teams earlier.  As a reminder, the “All-Star teams” are selected at the 9u thru 12u ages from our league players.  These teams are formed based on coach nominations and allow players to participate in tournament play without committing to a more rigorous/extended tournament team schedule. By moving nominations up, this will allow more practice time (and planning time) for the players, coaches, and parents. As a result, we will be working with the coaches to complete nominations earlier and players selected by June 1st.

To make this process as smooth as possible, please talk with your son(s) and determine if they would like to be considered for a possible “All-Star” tournament nomination.  During on-line registration, indicate your interest by answering the “Would your child like to be considered for the All-Star Team?” question.

Please note, this doesn’t guarantee a spot. Coaches will evaluate your player during the first few weeks of practices and games and make nominations at that time. The Tentative All-Star tournament schedule is:

9u/10u All-Star Team
Abrams June 14-16
Pulaski July 26-28

11u All Star Team
Kaukauna June 28-30
Pulaski July 26-28

12u All Star Team
Abrams June 14-16
Pulaski July 12-14

EXCITING RAFFLE FOR 2019

Want to have your entire family’s concession stand duties waived for 2019?  Watch for more details coming soon on a special raffle we will be offering this season!  Be sure to buy your tickets because the winner will have all their baseball concession stand commitments waived for the summer! Do you have multiple children playing on multiple teams (leagues and tournaments)….there is no limit to the amount of tickets you can buy, and if you win, you won’t work one shift this summer! All the funds raised will go directly to field and equipment improvements.  You win and the kids win!

PULASKI WORLD SERIES OF HITTING

Come join the Pulaski High School Coaching Staff and Players to develop the skills to be a great hitter! Our staff will work closely with each individual player on the mental and physical approach to becoming the next Bryce Harper, Aaron Judge, Jose Altuve, or Christian Yelich! All boys will go through the same drills our varsity baseball players use to become a more successful hitter. Beside the great station work, each player will be given video analysis along with exit speed data using a radar gun. Please bring your own bat and helmet.

Tuesday Night Sessions (6) run from 3 different time slots: 5:45-6:30, 6:30-7:15 & 7:15-8:00 at the Pulaski Middle School. (Please select 1. Please arrive to be there 5-10 minutes before start time) Dates:  January 8, 15, 22, & February 5, 12, 19.   No class on January 29th. Cost is $30 per athlete.

Each session is open to any age from 3rd grade through 8th grade. To ensure a great experience with trained coaches, we will have a tight cap of 20 per session. So it is first come, first serve at each time slot. The beauty of our system of hitting is that hitters of all ages will be using the same drills and progressions in developing a great rotational swing.

Registration can be found in the Winter PACE Catalog.
